My kids make me laugh...
so i had a few funny things that my kids have said recently and had to write them down.
1. I asked Jce what he wanted for Christmas he looked at me very serious and told me "mom I want a 4 wheeler and a hot dog" we went to see santa claus and Jce tapped on his knee when Santa looked down at him he said " Santa I want a 4 wheeler and a hotdog for christmas" To which santa replied Aren't you a box of Cracker Jax...I am still laughing about this. Anybody that asks him about Christmas wants he tells everyone the same thing....go figure.
2. Peyton had a funny moment when my parents were visiting for Thanksgiving...they had brought some souveniers from a recent trip to Gettysburg, one of which was a book about the civil war.Peyton loves history so my mom was explaining that 50,000 men died in 3 days of the battle to which Peyton replied "it's ok Grandma Mccain will bring back the troops" It was such a cute observation. Never mind that it is the wrong war and President and that you cannot bring back the dead, but it was so cute.

Peytons "Halloween Party" at school
I know you are actually supposed to call it an autumn celebration, but I think that is stupid so I call it Halloween. It was very cute they got to guess how much a pumpkin weighs, count candy corns, decorate cookies, and eat lots of goodies, Jace and I were there as helpers..jace loves to visit Peyton at school

I did it...now read this
So I am 6 months preggers and I am trying to remember why I did this to myself...I love my two boys and am totally excited about another addition. WHY though, do I gain 45+ lbs when some of my friends can't seem to look pregnant, my crotch hurts, my back hurts, I cry all the time and am even starting to annoy myself, did I mention that my butt is the size of a large school bus, I hate all clothes that include a panel...but can't seem to fit in anything wlse, I forget everything from names to dates, to walking into a room 7 times only to remember that I don't remember why I am there...than breaking down in tears over the fact that I can't remember. I don't even have that blissful 3 month period where you feel wonderful...ARRRRGGHHHH. I don realize the blessing of my predicament and am grateful, but if one more person mistakes sweat for that glowing pregnant look I will punch someone.....Just thought I would share..thank you.

BEST PART OF THE NIGHT
CORN MAZE
WE went to the corn maze at tolmakoff farms last week with the Mcmullans we had a great time picking up the chicks, and getting lost in the maze...It wasn't scary enough for the older boys so they would run ahead and jump out at us as we passed by. I also saw the strangest thing Goats in a palm tree...they had these little ramps that the goats could walk up and sit in the palm trees...NEVER SAW ANYTHING LIKE IT

I am 22 weeks

The Greatest Husband....
So I just wanted to aknowledge my husband today....I am feeling very blessed and lucky to have him in my life.I was reading Erins Blog and came across this song that I had never heard before and instantly thought of my husband so after downloading it I wanted to tell him how much I love him. Jace and I have had the flu this week and he has gone above and beyond to take care of us. From cleaning up barf to putting a cold rag on my neck to my feel better. He is in every way my best friend. I think sometimes I forget to thank him for all the small things he does everyday like getting Peyton out the door so that I can sleep extra, taking time to go to all Doctors appointments with me, clearing the table after dinner..and telling me I am pretty when right now I am not the hottest version of myself lol.., By creating the perfect version of our life by working hard, bringing home flowers, Yard work ,driving to Utah 4 times a year with no complaints, and being the best Father to our children, I consider myself the luckiest girl on earth. So thank you sweetie for all you do I sometimes get caught up in the day to day and forget to truly let you know that you are my world...for that I am sorry...I LOVE YOU!!!

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!
So After much speculation we found out today 100% we are having a little boy...I am shocked to say the least. Our doctor 2 weeks ago told us 75% it was a girl, but that other 25% turned out to be boy...We are excited, and know that there is a purpose to this little boy coming in to our lives...he will no doubt change our family for the best. So a total mind set change...no pink only blue at this house.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM...
Just a birthday shout out to my mom....wishing you a very great day. You deserve it... I wanted to write a very long list of reasons I love you, but didn't have enough room for all of them so here are 10 of the best ones..
1.Your pie crust cookies...1lb of butter never tasted so good...sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar...yummy
2.Your ability to only be at my house for 2 hours while Im gone and singlehandedly change my shower curtain, get jace to bed, feed the kids, do the dishes, make popcorn, watch a movie, clean the back yard, and still manage to play card games with Peyton...I honestly am still amazed.
3.The very fact that you are willing to carry like 15 lbs of tomatoes on the airplane..just so that I could have a great week of nothing but home grown goodness.
4.your generosity...even though we would come home from school to home baked yummies only to find out that the pie baking before my eyes were for the neighbors...you still gave me pie crust cookies.
5.The mom run...I know that we mock the way you run that it is more like a fast shuffle it is so cute...
6.Weight watchers..I am so proud of you and your membership as a lifer, you did it and you look so great.
7.memories of homemade bread on a cold day, blankets out of the dryer, homemade soup (from a chicken that you cooked for 2 hrs), a movie, cozy.
8.for bringing me leaves so that I can smell fall and crunch them for the sound...I may even pile them up and jump in them...hehe
9.your squeals as we arrive and tears when we leave...you are home to me.
10. And finally allowing me to move...as much as I miss you and the fam. I love the visits. You to arizona and me to Utah. I know it is hard...I hope I can be even a portion of your example to my daughter...I love you!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

My Friend Heather...
So I found out some very sad news last night...my very dear friend Heather passed away last night at the age of 33. My mom called me with the news and I was so shocked I could hardly breathe. They are not sure what happened only that her roommate found her out front of the house blue they tried to save her, but she was gone. She had 5 kids, was a nurse, beautiful and funny as Hell. I am reeling over the news. I guess it is hard to understand why someone so young just dies. It sounds strange, but it is so hard for me to imagine taking her # out of my phone permanantly, I know it's strange but it is so final...I called it last night just to check if she was there...it was eerie to hear her answering machine.
Heather was the reason I did so well after my divorce..she walked me through all the steps and even came with me to court, I borrowed one of her nice long coats. Her fashion sense was amazing, I loved her clothes, and borrowing them any chance I could. She is also the reason that I kept seeing Kevin she told me I couldn't let this one go. she was right. We talked long nights and she was really my only girlfriend while I moved back home with my folks. Her family is in my families ward, her sister dated my brother, her dad was my dads home teaching companion...we crossed paths alot. The last time I saw her was the 4th of July...I told her how I was pregnant and she said it would be a girl.
I am writing this very personal instance on my blog because I feel It is so important to live every moment...stop and hug your kids, tell everyone that you love them, let go of the little things(they're not important),help others if only to let them talk, take a walk and enjoy everything...the smells and sounds, the clouds, and warm sunshine, We have so much to be grateful for. I can't imagine a more blessed life than most of us live. I am also a little jealous that she will meet my little girl before me...I hope she gives her a kiss to pass on to me. I know she is with our heavenly Father...I pray for her kids and her family. I guess I will take her # out of my phone now...we will have an eternity to catch up when my time is over. Hopefully not as quickly as hers.

Peyton Loses a tooth
Peyton wanted Kevin to Pull his tooth out...so with string, plyers, and alot of blood it came out. He was much braver than me. This was about 2 weeks ago and I am just getting up the strength to look at these pics...I was a little woozie. Lucky for me I have Kevin to step in and take control of such life issues.
