TRUNK OR TREAT
About 7 weeks ago we got Peyton involved in a golfing class at his school...I was curious about his progress as he told us that he was ready to take on a grown up course...I was skeptical so I thought I would check it out myself.
Much to my amazement he is pretty good. He even won longest drive, and another game where they tried to chip the ball into a circle. I think we need to work on his form
ie:keeping his head down and feet planted, but other than that he is doing well. It is so fun to find your childs knack for a sport or activity...luckily this is one sport he maybe able to take care of me one day with..hehe

Hotel Swimming at its Best
Peytons Baptism
Peyton was Baptised on September 26th 2009...and I could not be more proud. His dad did the Baptism and Kevin Comfirmed him. Thank you so much to everyone who came from near and far to support us...especially me. It was a very stressful time for me and I am grateful for everyones patience and understanding. Luckily we were able to have a very yummy dinner at Meatballz to bring the event to a close.Peytons was so cute and I think overwhelmed by the experience..he is so excited to be 8.

Cub Scouts...holy crap
So I guess it begins...Scouting that is. I guess in the back of my mind I was subconsciously aware of the fact that 3 boys would at some point become 3 scouts..little did I know literally about the actual process. It goes something like this your son is now 8, welcome to cub scouts, he starts out as a wolf I guess, but needs to become a bobcat before being a wolf is even a thought. So we go to a "training" of sorts where I am totally out of my league with mothers who already have trained their young ones with the oath and badge names...I sit with a pen and paper just trying to figure out what the hell a belt loop is and where do I go to buy arm badges and neckerchiefs. Oh and did I fail to mention my son who is so excited about this process that he is already reading his book cover to cover and asking when I can help him pass off his archery badge, or belt loop I don't know..so I look at Kevin for answers he shrugs and mumbles something about not remembering all of this. Then they hand me his faith in god requirements which I am assured will go hand in hand with the scouting requirements.
Regardless of my groans and moans I am now on this new path and I guess by the time I get to Jax I will be an old pro, like the mom next to me already repeating the oath. Well we did get his bobcat which was a big deal, and my whold family was here to witness the ceremony...I do have to admit that they are pretty cute in their uniforms...sigh HERE WE GO..

Jax Gets his first haircut..
When jax was born he has less hair than Jace who we referred to as a chiwawa he was so bald...so needless to say Jax was bald, then out of nowhere comes this blonde head of hair. It is so cute and has little strawberry blonde highlights Love it, but it got a little to long so time for a cut. My Stylist Lj was so cute with him and took a little off making him so handsome..

Newport Beach part 1
Kevin and I after a long summer decided we wanted to get away and have some quality family bonding time so kind've last minute we decided to take the kids to California for some fun in the sun!! As we started planning this family filled Vaca I looked into some hotels near the beach which were running $200 plus a night I had heard about Priceline but was so afraid of that kind of commitment I never thought I would actually do it....so Iturned to my friends to see if they had used priceline and the ones that had loved it and swear by it. I am happy to say that me deciding to try it out was a success and we found out we would be at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. I also decided with two weeks until the actual trip to invite my cousin Breck and her fam to join us and found out it would work out. I was so excited, but we decided not to tell the kids anything until right before we left..So on the first day of school we went swimming at a friends house and afterward the kids came home to find a whole beach setting in our house...then they got to play 20 ?'s to figure out where we were going...they were thrilled

First Day Of School
After School we went swimming at Leilanis for back to school swim party...yay

I love the first day of school...Peyton was off to 3rd grade..holy crap, and Jace was off to preschool. I think it is so funny because I still remember my first day if third grade. Burton Elementary Mrs.Hamblin. I had a total crush on Trav Bowen, my friends were Christy Cox, Christy Shepherd, and we would walk home for lunch some days...awww
